HOW DO I SUBMIT PROPOSALS TO SHOWS?

Feel free to email us work you are interested in showing at thejamesblackgallery@gmail.com. We make a call for submissions about a month in advance of shows, and will have the call hosted on this site, facebook, and sent out to our mailing list.

I SEE SOME WORK FROM A PREVIOUS SHOW I AM INTERESTED IN. HOW DO I CONTACT THEM?

Email us at thejamesblackgallery@gmail.com. We have the email and information for all our past artists and can help connect you two.

WHAT IS YOUR ACCESSIBILITY?

Unfortunately due to our location being in a heritage building, there are many steps on the way up to the main floor. Also our bathrooms are located on the second floor. Due to these our accessibility  won't be changing soon, however we will try to accommodate people any way we can. We are planning a more comprehensive accessibility and code of conduct in 2019.

WHAT ARE YOUR POLICIES?

This is an anti-oppression all-inclusive safer space. Any intolerant behaviour will not be permitted, and result in a permanent ban from the premises. We are expanding this policy in 2019.
